Beth began her career as an Account Manager working for the North East Chamber of Commerce, she then joined Durham County Council as a Business Coach before embarking on a focused career in recruitment.
Joining a regional recruitment firm, Beth started out as a Frameworks Development Manager to oversee and grow the business within the public sector. She grew her team to 9 consultants and was responsible for managing >500 contract workers at any one time. In recognition of her success, she was promoted to a Senior Management position within 2 years of her appointment.
In 2014 Beth moved into the Construction Division setting up the second tier supply chain and managing the delivery of contract workers across the North East, Yorkshire, Cumbria and Scotland. Construction has remained Beth’s focus for the last 4 years, predominately supplying technical contractors to Housing and Building clients.
In 2018, Beth joined Coleman James as an Associate to head up the Construction Division. With exceptional sector knowledge, strong management skills and the ability to quickly build rapport and establish trust with key clients and candidates. Beth is a highly successful recruiter and member of the senior management team.
When Beth isn’t at work she likes to compete on the track, having completed 3 Great North Run’s and a sprint tri-athlon. The training comes in handy when running after her lively puppy Roscoe.
