My client is looking for an Electrical Project Manager to lead their North East team to deliver large scale, multi-disciplined project with a £28m valuation; managing the overall performance of the project team to ensure that all activities meet the programme, cost, safety and quality objectives of the Project across a time scale of roughly 18 months.

As Project Manager you will:
- Be responsible for the M&E services installation on projects from design through to Smart Landings
- Manage the technical and BIM department to produce fully coordinated installation drawings to a standard which allows clear direction for site installation or production of offsite manufacturing.
- Manage the team to ensure we have a clear sequence of works with defined durations and resource loaded that is agreed with our client
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget to agreed standards and ensure the project budget and costs are managed effectively
- Deliver a quality installation, in line with our client’s expectations, maximising the profitability by smart design and early selection, driving our cost whilst maintaining our standards
- Ensure risks are identified and mitigation measures are put in place
- Effectively manage staff performance on the project by ensuring they have clear roles and responsibilities
- Organise and chair project monthly operational review & monthly commercial review meetings
- Attend monthly contract review meetings with operational manager, commercial manager, and directors to present the project commercial forecast
- Develop and maintain professional working relationship with customers, our design team, supply chain and relevant stakeholders. Always ensure effective communication and present issues concisely and persuasively
- Working as part of a team to work safely and economically by co-ordinating activities with others
- Effectively communicate at all levels to develop and maintain good working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders as well as share best practice and promote innovation.
