My client is well renowned as one of the leading M&E contractors in the UK and they are in search for a Mechanical Estimator to join their team in the North West region.

Requirements:

• A good knowledge of ventilation, heating/chilled water, BMS and public health services.
• Understand specifications and employers’ requirements
• Assemble enquiries for specialist sub-contractors/suppliers
• Identify risks
• Consider value engineering
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Good communication skills
• Develop relationships with customers and supply chain
• Consider innovation and new products

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Preparing comprehensive mechanical tenders
• Meet tender deadlines
• Collaborating with other team members
• Interact with in house design team
• Conclude Tenders with the pre-construction director
