Our client are a National leading M&E contractor with a strong regional presence in the North East. They focus on high profile, technically complex mechanical and electrical projects across multiple sectors with a strong pipeline of regional projects.

We are looking to appoint a project level Planner to be based on a major project with an M&E value of £250m. The team is well established and experienced within MEP therefore they are open to candidates from alternative sectors, ongoing support will be given at both levels.

This client uses Asta however experience in P6 is also of interest as again training will be given.

As a Planner you will:

* Work with the site team and main contractor to ensure the projects have fully integrated programmes sequenced to allow the successful completion of the project

* Thoroughly study specifications, drawings and relevant contract documents/ correspondence in conjunction with engineers and surveyors

* Carry out regular reporting on projects to allow the site team to understand the programme position in relation to progress

* Liaise with the project team to ensure progress reports, progress percentages and drop-down programmes, are produced and issued in accordance with best practices

Desirables:

* Asta or P6 qualifications/ experience
* Familiar with NEC & JCT contracts
