A privately owned Building Services Design Consultancy based in Newcastle Upon Tyne would like to add to their existing team with a Principal level Electrical Design Engineer.

The client in question are an independent firm of Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health (MEP) consulting engineers with a broad sector coverage. Having been successfully operating for  8+ years, they have a solid presence within the UK Building Services Market and enjoy repeat business from a range of clients. Due to a consistent level of client demand they would like to employ a Principal level Electrical Design Engineer to assist in the growth and development of their Electrical department.

The role will require you to manage a team of Engineers and deliver your own projects. You will also assist the Directors with client relationship management and business development.

The position will give you the opportunity to work at the top level with the business owners and provide excellent routes to an Associate position.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Building Services with experience of delivering complex schemes from a leadership position.

A degree in Building Services or Electrical Engineering is essential and you will ideally have a minimum of 10 years direct Building Services work history.
