Job Description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join one of the UK’s leading M&E Contractors specialising in the design and installation of building services and infrastructure solutions nationwide, who have a requirement for a Senior Planner to join their expanding team in Leeds.
Ideally you will have some experience working on M&E projects and will have operated across a diverse range of sectors with an advanced level in Asta Power Project. We are very keen to speak to candidates from other sectors i.e construction.
As Senior Planner, you will be based within their project controls team working on tender & live projects ranging from £7 million to £50 million; responsible for all planners and assistant planners within the region.
Key Accountabilities will include:
- Working with the site team and main contractor to ensure the projects have fully integrated programmes sequenced in the correct manner to allow the successful completion of the project
- Thoroughly study specifications, drawings and relevant contract documents/ correspondence in conjunction with engineers and surveyors to ensure adequacy of the planning and programming of projects
- Carry out regular reporting on projects to allow the site team to understand the programme position in relation to progress
- Liaise with the project team to ensure progress reports, progress percentages and drop-down programmes, are produced and issued in accordance with Best practice, company procedures and project requirements to allow proper management and commercial protection to be achieved
