A key client of ours are currently seeking to appoint a Civils Site Manager to work on a commercial/ industrial development, located in the North East on a freelance basis for 12 months but may increase depending on work demand. The project is valued in excess of £100M which will consist of 11 buildings, office spaces and storage units. 

The ideal candidate will have experience of working on high value commercial and industrial schemes, from inception to completion and a solid understanding of civil engineering. This is a nightshift position, hours of work to be discussed in further detail. 

This is a Freelance position and they are looking for someone to start immediately

Responsibilities: 

• Management of groundworkers and gangs
• Regular reports
• Client liaison
• Meetings
• Organising labour
• Toolbox Talks
• Site Inspections
• H&S/RAMS
• Quality checks

Requirements:

• A Valid SMSTS
• A Valid CSCS
• Experience of working on large value heavy civil engineering schemes,   commercial
• Right to Work
• Attention to detail
