A key client of ours are currently seeking to appoint a Site Engineer to work on a commercial development located in the North East on a freelance basis, for a minimum of 6 months and may increase depending on work demand. The shift pattern is also in the hours between 4pm – 12am, so someone who can commit to those working hours will be essential. The ideal candidate will have experience of working on small or high value commercial and highways schemes, from inception to completion and a solid understanding of civil engineering. This is a Freelance position and they are looking for someone to start in the next few weeks.

Responsibilities:

• Setting Out on site
• Quality Assurance
• Mapping/Surveying
• Drainage/278 works
• Regular Reporting
• Quality Checks
• Management and control of a total station (own KIT preferable)

Requirements:

• A Valid CSCS
• Experience of working on a range of commercial/residential and highways schemes, ideally from start to finish
• Degree qualified (Desirable)
• Ability to commute
• Right to Work
• Reliability to work on a backshift pattern
• National Highway Passport & Safety Critical Medicals
