A key client of ours, specialising within civil engineering, delivering largely housing infrastructure works are seeking to appoint a Site Engineer on a permanent basis within their business due to work demand and a healthy order book in the pipeline. The Site Engineer will be required to support the site team with engineering requirements, as well as drawing and design interpretation and setting out plot works. The ideal candidate will have experience operating as a Site Engineer working on new build housing developments, with an indepth knowledge and understanding of design. This is a permanent role and are looking for someone to start ASAP.

Responsibilities:

• Setting out for plot works/housing infrastructure
• Dealing with design
• Interpreting drawings
• Quality Checks
• Regular reporting
• Supervision of groundworkers/labour
• Operating a total station, dealing with volume and coordination points

Requirements:

• A Valid CSCS
• Ability to commute
• Right to Work
• Experience of working on housing developments, for a civils subcontractor ideally
