A key client of ours are requiring a Civils Construction Manager/Site Agent to manage the groundworks/civils package located in Teesside on a multi-million pound commercial new build project. The ideal candidate will have experience managing over a range of projects, focused on the ground works and civils elements on a commercial build, responsible for recording, monitoring and quality assurance of the site activity. This is a freelance opportunity and are looking for someone to start ASAP, with a duration of 6 months initially, which likely will extend depending on work demand.

Responsibilities:

• Recording/Monitoring of output of work regarding civils/groundworks
• Monitor client activities, reporting into the main contractor for the build
• Management of subcontractors
• ITP's/QA assessments
• H&S/RAMs
• Regular reporting to senior management on progress
• Client Liaison

Requirements:

• A Valid SMSTS
• A Valid CSCS
• A Valid First Aid
• Experience of acting as a Construction Manager/Site Agent, managing piling, stabilisation and other groundworks elements.
• A keen eye for detail and efficient with programme/inspections
