Job Description
We are working with a client who is a leading Tier 1 M&E Contractor that are looking for a Commercial Assistant to join them to provide support within their talented Commercial Team in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an ambitious company that can offer long term progression in a supportive environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Collate forms from Commercial Team for audit at project review meetings
- Manage insurance database
- Register, review, confirm and witness subcontracts and supply chain orders, including insurance
- Warranty and liquidity checks
- Set up subcontracts and small works orders
- Issue monthly cost reports to commercial department for audit and sign off
- Review payments, set up forms and budgets in readiness for Commercial Director sign off
- Assist in the preparation of loss and expense claims
- Assist with the Valuation Timetable, data entry and cash reporting
- Liaise with clients and Commercial team to ensure timely client payments
- Ensure the timely submission of all forms
- Manage subcontractor database
- Raising of purchase orders
Requirements:
- General Admin experience
- Organisation skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- IT Literate in Microsoft Packages (Word/ Excel/ Adobe)
- Training provided on internal system (COINS)
- Commercial experience within the Construction industry desirable but not essential.
- Candidates from a purely admin background looking for their next step will also be considered as full training is provided
