A Yorkshire based main contractor, with over 100 year's experience in building contemporary housing across Yorkshire & the Humber and throughout the UK are seeking to appoint an Architectural Technician to work out of their office in Doncaster, South Yorkshire. To work on a permanent basis to support with their workload and help develop proposals and masterplans from pre-commencement to delivery, on a number of projects they have across Yorkshire. The ideal candidate will have worked on a range of housing developments before, for a main contractor or client. This is a permanent position and are looking for someone to start ASAP:

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of land bid site layout based on masterplan designed by the Design Manager, using drawings, AutoCAD or Revit to do so
• Support the team in preparation of plans in line with policies adhered to
• Daily maintenance of programmes
• Assisting in the delivery of effective and relevant legal documentation for each development or phase
• Liaising with on site teams and office teams on project progress
• Regular reporting
• Attending site visits to carry out reflected practice

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a Design and Technical Department for housing contractors
• Experienced in Autodesk Revit
• Competent AutoCAD user
• Computer literate
• Understanding of residential buidling design & construction
• Ability to commute (Hybrid working available)
• Right to Work
• Minimum HNC in related subject
