A key client of mine is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team on a permanent basis due to growth. My client operates within the construction and residential sectors and work across Tyne & Wear and Northumberland. They're seeking an experienced commercial professional who is currently acting as QS at present or an Assistant QS ready to take the next step in their career. Duties will include:

• Cost reporting and analysis from inception through to site completion
• Management and payment of subcontractors
• Procurement of work and sub-contract packages
• Cost planning
• Using COINS

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Experience of working in a commercial position in the past and have a track record of managing budgets and financial control of projects/contracts
• Excellent communication skills
• Be able to build lasting relationships with clients and stake-holders
• Ideally have experience of using COINS
