Job Description
A Tier 1, UK nationwide main contractor are currently seeking to appoint a permanent Site Manager to work on a high value new build development, focused on commercial and residential properties based in West Yorkshire, responsible for all site activity, from inception to completion. The company have significant experience of using innovative strategies to deliver complex projects across a range of industries such as education, residential, commercial, healthcare, justice and emergency services, and a focus on social responsibility maximising value for clients and delivering quality, that enhance the places and communities around them. The projects that they deliver range between values of £12m, toward £100m on average, focusing on commercial and residential developments across the nation. This is a permanent position and it is due to start ASAP.
Responsibilities:
- Management of subcontractors
- Dealing with on site issues
- Design/Drawing interpretation/adaptation
- Liaising with the end client on a regular basis
- Reporting site progress to senior management
- Site inspections
- Tracking all site activity
- H&S/RAMS
- IT/Paperwork
Candidate Profile
Requirements:
- A Valid SMSTS
- A Valid First Aid
- A Valid CSCS
- Experience of managing over multiple residential and commercial projects from inception to completion, ranging in large values would be desirable
- Ability to commute
- Right to Work
