Location: Covering areas such as Reading, Oxford, Slough with occasional travel into London

Our client is a well-established, privately owned commercial building maintenance and service company serving the whole of the United Kingdom.

Job Purpose

This business is organised into regional teams of up to 20 commercial engineers who work in concert with the central technical support team to deliver, service, repair, maintain and install the full spectrum of commercial building services. You, and your colleagues, will be the customer facing powerhouse of their business within your region with a portfolio of key clients and sites.

Duties and responsibilities of the role will be as follows:

• Fault finding / repair, reactive maintenance, servicing / ppm and installation of air conditioning systems
• Working on different systems of air conditioning including split systems, cassettes, VRV’s and VRF’s
• Reactive attendance to emergency callouts on 1 in 4 callout rota
• Where appropriate to do so, providing our site-based client with guidance on the operation and management of their assets and advising them when their plant needs to be replaced or up-graded rather than repaired
• Providing data to support the creation of quotations (including equipment, parts and labour)
• Delivering our contracted performance targets and expectations

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

• Qualified at NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
• F Gas (2079) Qualified Category 1
• 18th Edition experience working with VRV’s, Split units, Chillers and AHUS’s
• Able to interface with people at all levels
• Able to work independently and take initiative
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Possess excellent time management and organisational skills
• Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
• Have a strong attention to detail
• You will have a Full UK Driving Licence
• You will be able to pass a DBS check for relevant convictions
