Location: North East – covering areas from Northumberland to North Yorkshire

Salary: Competitive + pension and 30 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays) + progression opportunities. A company vehicle will be provided on completion of a successful probation period (3 months). Overtime available

Hours: 40 per week (Monday to Friday)

Due to increased growth our client, a North East based organisation, has an immediate need for a Plumbing / Heating Engineer to join the current team. As an organisation, they specialise in the service, maintenance and installation of a number of key areas such as air conditioning, refrigeration, plumbing and electrics.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Fault finding / repair, reactive maintenance, servicing / ppm and installation of heating and boiler systems

• Ensuring that all technical and compliance paperwork is completed and up to date
• Completing maintenance to the highest standards in an efficient and cost-effective manner, whilst complying with the laid down company Health and Safety Policy

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

• Fully Qualified Gas Engineer with up to date gas tickets
• Experience working in the commercial sector
• Knowledge of commercial plumbing and heating/cooling systems
• Experience dealing with clients
• A basic understanding of gas and water regulations
• Full UK Driving Licence

Further training in areas such as PASMA, IPAF, LPG, Oil and Renewable Systems will be available for the successful candidate.
