Our client is currently seeking a Legionella Service Engineer due to business growth.  You will provide high-quality compliant water hygiene solutions with an emphasis on legionella monitoring, cleaning & disinfection and servicing of thermostatic mixer valves/taps and legionella risk assessments:

• Disinfection of hot and cold water services, including MDPE pipework to water authority standards
• To undertake legionella monitoring to ensure compliance with the ACoP L8 / HSG 274, PPM, schedules and procedures
• Use workflow systems correctly and ensure compliance information recorded and added to electronic log book
• Service of thermostatic mixer valves / taps
• Water sampling of hot and cold water systems, including swimming pool, hot tubs and where necessary, effluent samples.
• Undertake all works in accordance with H&S policy and safe working practices.

You will be provided with a company vehicle to travel to customer locations, primarily within the NE regions however there will be occasional overnight stays in Scotland required.

The suitable candidate will have experience within a similar role, have a full driving license and be flexible to work away a few days per month.
