Location: North East
Salary: Competitive + Company car or car allowance (£6,000) + private healthcare, life insurance, critical illness cover, pension and 25 days holiday, plus 8 bank holidays
Our client is a well-established, privately owned commercial building maintenance and service company serving the whole of the United Kingdom.
This role will be based from their North East based Office, but will cover the South West region of the UK, including areas from Bristol across to Birmingham.
Job Purpose
This business is organised into regional teams of up to 20 commercial engineers who work in concert with the central technical support team to deliver, service, repair, maintain and install the full spectrum of commercial building services. You, and your colleagues, will be the customer facing powerhouse of their business within your region with a portfolio of key clients and sites.
Duties and responsibilities of the role will be as follows:
- You will provide technical support and guidance on the telephone to engineers out in the field
- You will interact between the administration team, management team and regional engineering team to disseminate information into the field
- You will also monitor engineers and promote best practice in health and safety, engineering and customer care
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
- Technically qualified to City and Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in a relevant gas / mechanical discipline or time served with suitable experience
- Be able to demonstrate experience and knowledge of working within the Industrial and Commercial sectors
- Be able to demonstrate experience and knowledge of HVAC systems
- Able to read and understand schematic and wiring diagrams
- Able to interface with people at all levels
- Able to work independently and take initiative
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Possess excellent time management and organisational skills
- Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
- Have a strong attention to detail
- You will have a Full UK driving Licence
