We are working alongside an established M&E contractor who are in search of a Mechanical Project Manager/ Engineer to join their team located in Newcastle. Established over 30 years ago, our client offers the complete package for design and installation of electrical and mechanical building services projects. You would have exposure to large scale projects across Student Accommodation, Key Worker Apartments, Residential, Retirement and Commercial projects.

Responsibilities as a Mechanical Project Manager/ Engineer:

•             Delivery of £5m M&E Student Accommodation overseeing all mechanical aspects of the jobs.

•             Responsible for pre-construction & design management and commercial management along with programming and progress reports.

•             Overseeing and implementing Health & Safety on site, management of Sub Contractors and suppliers, Reporting, Quality Management & Client Liaison.

•             Must be able to demonstrate experience delivering projects from contract award to commissioning, practical completion, client training, issue of handover documentation & final handover.
