We are working on behalf of a leading National Tier 1 M&E contractor who are looking for a Project Planner to join their team in the South, focussing on high profile, technically complex mechanical and electrical projects across multiple sectors. Project Planners are a key part of our client’s operations and their role ensures the adequacy of planning and programming within projects as well as providing leadership and implementing proper management.
About the Role:
- Within this role you would bring Construction/ M&E experience that will support in tender evaluation, reviewing contractor proposals, and support the programme and evaluation process
- Work with the site team and main contractor to ensure the projects have fully integrated programmes sequenced in the correct manner to allow the successful completion of the project
- Thoroughly study specifications, drawings and relevant contract documents/ correspondence in conjunction with engineers and surveyors to ensure adequacy of the planning and programming of projects
- Carry out regular reporting on projects to allow the site team to understand the programme position in relation to progress
- Liaise with the project team to ensure progress reports, progress percentages and drop-down programmes, are produced and issued in accordance with our client’s Best practice, company procedures and project requirements to allow proper management and commercial protection to be achieved
