We are working with an industry leading contractor who are in the market for a Project level QS to join their North East operations on a permanent basis.

Project are large scale and varied across sectors including healthcare, education, MOJ, commercial and industrial. They are currently turning over £500m Nationwide and over £100m across the Northern region. They have a secure pipeline of work with 90% of turnover over the last number of years coming through repeated business, therefore job security is huge and opportunity for exposure is guaranteed.

Responsibilities:
- Contribute to commercial strategies and take ownership for your own subcontract packages, demonstrating an understanding of the implementation of internal and external tender strategies.
- Maximise project cashflow by effective commercial management.
- Contribute to relevant project procurement strategies with particular focus on the issuing of tender enquiries, package reconciliations and production of subcontract orders, whilst working with the Commercial Lead to agree main and subcontract final accounts.

M&E experience would be desired but not essential, they are looking for someone with experience in managing subcontractors and is familiar with NEC & JCT contracts.
