Job Description

My client are a leading Tier 1 Rail and Civil Engineering provider who work on a variety of projects including rail and bridges. They are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a suite of Network Rail MDU Upgrades (ground preparation, construct modular building and fit out). 

 

The Role

To be fully responsible for the successful delivery of Projects from Contract Award to Closure. The Project Manager (PM) will ensure that Projects are delivered safely, in accordance with:

- Contract Specification

- Company Process & Procedures

- Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Standards

- Financial performance

 

Other duties include:

- Plan work activities

- Attend progress meetings

- Oversea Quality Assurance is In line with the inspection test plane

- Ensure Commercial Compliance

- Raise Early Warnings

- Lead by example/set standards to your fellow team members

- Promote repeat business by personal contact with key stakeholders, and demonstrating high levels of commitment to their requirements

- Create and communicate delivery plans in accordance with the contractual program

- Carry out 1-2-1s with all employees who report into you

- Ensure all reporting and KPI deliverables are met to their deadlines

- To complete work package plans/method statements/risk assessments adherence to the Taziker business process

 

Essential:

A Senior Management Training Certificate such as:

- SMSTS

- IOSH or NEBOSH

- NVQ Level 4 Construction Site Management

– Building and Civil Engineering - CSCS (Manager)

- Prior Modular Building Experience 

- 5+ Years experience in construction or civil engineering industry 

- 3+ Years in a Project Management role including
