Senior Quantity Surveyor - Education

A Senior Quantity Surveyor is required on a permanent basis to join a successful national main-contractor in West Yorkshire. Being based on site, you will be responsible for 2x Assistant Quantity Surveyors workloads and be tasked with working on a new-build education project. Your main duties will include:

• Leading the commercial team on-site (reporting to the Commercial Manager)
• Client meetings
• Procurement & purchasing
• Sub-contractor management
• Measurement & variations
• Completing and approving cost reporting

This role would suit a highly experienced Senior QS who has previously worked for a main contractor on high value projects in the education sector. Main requirements of the candidate are as follows:

• Degree qualified (or equivalent)
• Extensive contractual experience (JCT & NEC)
• Be able to motivate and manage a team effectively on site
