A key client of ours are currently looking for a Site Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis, working within the North East on a range of projects consisting of road construction, surfacing, groundworks and other civil engineering schemes on both commercial and highways developments. The client are open to taking on newly experienced Site Engineers or those who have been within the industry for a longer period of time, where salary will be dependant on experience. The ideal candidate will have had experience working on commercial projects responsible for the setting out, QA and other civil engineering duties on site, mostly within large value schemes and who have worked for a subcontractor mainly. This is a permanent position and are looking for someone to start ASAP.

Responsibilities:

• Setting out
• QA
• Regular reports, monitoring progression of the schemes
• Supervising of groundworkers/labour
• Operating a total station, dealing with volume and coordination points
• Levelling/Mapping

Requirements:

• A Valid CSCS
• A Valid SSSTS/SMSTS (Desirable)
• Driving License
• Ability to commute
• Right to work
• Experience of working on commercial projects
