Job Description

The role will involve:

  • Provide 365/24/7 Maintenance Support to Systems
  • Technical Support to Telephone Helpdesk
  • Execution of Planned Maintenance Activities
  • To communicate effectively with customers and internal engineering teams
  • Develop strong technical knowledge on company products
  • Provide support when required to the sales team for the preparation of contract quotations
  • Generation of Service/Monthly Reports
  • Engagement with client at Service Contract Review Meetings
  • Support to project teams to carry out design, engineering and commissioning activities on site.

Skills & Experience:

  • Electrical/Technical Engineering qualification, HNC or HND
  • Self Motivated and innovative
  • Strong Computing Skills
  • Knowledge of control solutions and systems integration
  • Knowledge of Rail Telecommunications would be beneficial
  • Knowledge of PLC technologies (for example Mitsubishi, Siemens, Rockwell, etc)
  • Previous knowledge of programming PLCs and Panorama would be beneficial
  • Knowledge of UK Rail SCADA applications would be beneficial
  • Organisational and administrative capablilties
  • Be able to work both autonomously or collaboratively as part of a team
  • As the role requires attendance at customer offices and site locations you will need to be flexiable to travel across the UK and pocess a full clean driving licence
