Coleman James are working with a North East based Heating & Plumbing business that have developed an excellent reputation for the quality of its work and customer service over the past 80 years. They are looking to recruit an additional Renewables Estimator to help price and win new projects. Their work varies greatly – covering all aspects of plumbing and heating work in properties which include residential, country houses, commercial, schools, etc. Renewable technologies form a key part of their future strategy, so experience of designing and estimating renewable installations is essential – particularly air and ground source heat pumps.
Experience of estimating, winning, and managing projects of up to £100K in value would be a distinct advantage – but a positive attitude, good team spirit, and a commitment to excellent customer service is essential, as is relevant experience within our market. You’ll also need to be flexible in both attitude and working hours.
You will be working as part of a small and close-knit office team, with a site team who are widely experienced and many of whom have been with the business since leaving school. The ethos of high-quality work and customer care extends throughout the company and the site staff take a real pride in their work.
With a large and loyal customer base providing a constant flow of new enquiries, and are regularly recommended to new customers, you can expect to be kept very busy!
