Job Description

Coleman James are working with a leading international Medical Facilities client who specialise in precision radiation therapy solutions. 

This role is focused on the site planning, specification and preparation of customer facing drawings activities, you will be part of a cross‐functional team working primarily in product development of high‐tech medical systems. You will apply your technical and planning skills in working in a customer facing role and within a large high value product creation project. You will be a person who is able to negotiate, share and publish knowledge by working closely with customers, project managers, architects, civil, mechanical, and electrical and HVAC engineers.

As a task oriented, flexible and driven person you will possess both technical academic and professional qualifications in an engineering discipline. Excellent interpersonal communication skills are needed as is the ability to drive change with a mindfulness to achieving the highest quality.

You will be able to create 3D BIM models and components within AutoDesk Revit. 

Qualifications & Experience:


  • Detailed knowledge of industry standard design applications used in building design e.g. AutoCAD, REVIT
  • High working knowledge of AutoDesk Revit and AutoCAD
  • Working knowledge of rendering software.
  • Minimum of 5 years buildings/architectural/Hospital AutoCAD support in a healthcare environment.
  • A minimum of HND/HNC Electronic & Electrical/Mechanical engineering or scientific background
  • Fluent English (written and verbal).
  • Construction and or Engineering industry knowledge, with healthcare construction knowledge highly desirable
  • Strong analytical skills able to solve systems level problems
  • Strong IT and software experience


  • Oncology or medical x-ray imaging product knowledge, with magnetic resonance (MR) product knowledge highly desirable
  • Product development and introduction experience
  • Practical knowledge of industry standard 3D applications used in building design e.g. Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD
  • Familiar with other global design standards ASHRAE, NFPA etc
  • Additional foreign language skills
